Joe and I also have a fairly lenghty history of making silly videos, most of them for French classes we didn't learn anything from. He had some minor roles in MOSS, the greatest of which was Ebec, the lobotomized terrorist. That same character will make a small appearance in LICHEN as well, and he'll play several other small roles.

Joe and I have made a lot of strange stuff together, from 8mm movies to Mario Paint cartoons to 3D rendered shows to ... full length movies, I guess. He now attends the same college as I do, which would lead one to think that by proximity he would be pretty involved in LICHEN, but he's very busy trying to keep his grades at an acceptable level while dealing with his girlfriend's weekly dramas. His line memorization ability leaves a little to be desired, but his unique timing and top-notch visual gestures make him a great choice for parts that are more about actions than words. He also has a great knack for every once in a while saying something so utterly bizarre or stupid that one can't help but be wonderfully amused. Out of the blue he had this notion of mathematicians playing poker one day, and I loved the idea so much I skipped my next class to go write a sketch around it.
